VEGETABLES MASAL VADA

Ingredients:

Yellow split peas - 1/2 cup
Finely chopped onion - 1/4 cup
Grated carrots - 1/4 cup
Finely chopped cabbage - 1/4 cup
Finely chopped coriander - 2 tbsp
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Salt - to taste
Oil to fry

Preparation:

Soak the peas for 2 hours. Grind it coarsely.

Add the other ingredients and mix well.

Make a lemon sized ball, flatten and fry in hot oil.


Serve hot.
